Common questions
How many destinations can I include?
Free includes My Location plus one saved destination. Pro includes My Location plus up to ten saved destinations. Places shows the best upcoming days for your included destinations. Other destinations stay saved for later, including if Pro ends; choose which ones to include.
Why doesn’t pulling to refresh always get a new forecast?
Free forecasts become eligible for refresh every six hours; Pro forecasts every hour. Places share a daily refresh allowance. Pulling to refresh can reuse the cache while a refresh is ineligible. Check the forecast status for its original fetch time and next refresh opportunity.
What does a retained forecast mean?
A newer request failed, so the app keeps the earlier forecast and its original age visible. Check your connection and try again when retry is available. Sample data is labeled separately and is not a forecast for your place.
Why is no outdoor window available?
The planner needs complete hourly coverage for the whole duration you choose. Try a shorter duration, a wider time range, or a day within hourly forecast coverage. Place comparisons also need confirmed local time zones and matching dates.
How do I restore or cancel Pro?
Open Perfect Day Pro and choose Restore purchases using the Apple Account that bought the subscription. To manage or cancel, choose Manage subscription when Pro is active, or open your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple processes purchases and billing.
Why didn’t a saved plan send a notification?
Enable monitoring for that plan and allow notifications. A newer forecast must cross your chosen threshold. Checks share the weather allowance and depend on background time granted by iOS. Quiet hours can delay a notice. This is not continuous or guaranteed monitoring.
Do I have to share my location?
No. You can decline location permission and use a default or manually added place. Forecast and place-search requests are processed by Apple. Read the privacy policy for details.
